Washington, DC – Club for Growth Action, a political arm of the Club for Growth, announced the release of a 30-second television ad that is now airing on broadcast and cable television in Raleigh, NC, and on digital platforms.
“Renee Ellmers is proud of her terrible voting record on conservative pro-growth, free-market legislation,” said Club for Growth Action president David McIntosh. “She voted with nearly all House Democrats for the massive $1.1 trillion Omnibus spending bill, she supports the corrupt cronyism of the Export-Import Bank, and she repeatedly rejects conservative attempts to cut spending. Renee Ellmers lost touch with her constituents the first day she was sworn into office, and Club for Growth Action wants to be sure voters know about her liberal record.”

Club for Growth PAC first announced an endorsement to oppose Ellmers in December 2015. That candidate was unable to stay in the race due to court-ordered redistricting.
