Club for Growth Action Unveils New Ad in FL-15

  |

Today, Club for Growth Action announced the release of a 30-second ad that exposes Democrat Kristen Carlson’s past work as an attorney who put children’s health at risk.  The ad will begin airing on cable across Florida’s 15th congressional district and is part of a $300,000 ad buy.

Entitled, “Contaminated,” the ad explains that while working as an attorney Democrat Kristen Carlson tried to force the U.S. to import Brazilian orange juice that was contaminated with an FDA-banned chemical.

Upon release of the ad, Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh noted, “Kristen Carlson is unfit to be in Congress.  Her past dealings as a lawyer show the lengths she will go – endangering the health of children – to make a dime.  This reveals an incredible lack of judgment and discretion, and Kristen Carlson is not someone who can be trusted to represent the best interests of our children in Congress.”

You can watch the ad here.  You will also find a transcript of the ad below.

Contaminated

TV: 30

Orange juice.  Kids.  What could be dangerous?

If Kristen Carlson had her way, plenty.

As a lawyer, Carlson fought to force the U.S. to import Brazilian orange juice despite the juice being contaminated with an FDA-banned chemical that can cause birth defects, liver damage, reproductive disorders, even death.

For a paycheck, Carlson would put our kids’ health at risk.

Don’t send Carlson to Congress.
