CLUB FOR GROWTH ASKS PRESIDENT TRUMP TO VETO LATEST COVID SPENDING PACKAGE

Club for Growth issued the following statement asking President Trump to veto the COVID spending bill that Congress passed today.

“The latest COVID spending bill does nothing for American families and workers, and gives hundreds of billions away to special interests, bureaucracies, and foreign countries. As many businesses are taking steps to adjust to the circumstances facing their business due to the pandemic, government needs to remove tax and regulatory burdens that are preventing people from conducting business. The bill does none of that and instead hands billions to education bureaucrats at failing schools and foreign countries and more, which is why we are asking President Trump to veto the legislation.” – David McIntosh, Club for Growth President
