Club for Growth PAC Calls On Simpson To Vote No On Funding For ObamaCare
Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC today called on Representative Mike Simpson to vote no on funding ObamaCare through the appropriations process or the continuing resolution. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) has signed a letter promising not to vote for any continuing resolution that funds ObamaCare, and Idaho’s 1st District Congressman Raul Labrador also opposes funding ObamaCare.
Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) is circulating a letter urging Republican leadership to defund ObamaCare through the appropriations process. As of today, Congressman Raul Labrador has signed the letter, but Simpson has not.
“Will Mike Simpson vote to fund ObamaCare, or will he stand with Idaho taxpayers and his fellow Republicans in opposing ObamaCare?” asked Club for Growth Spokesman Barney Keller. “Either Mike Simpson supports ObamaCare or he doesn’t, and if he votes to fund it, Idaho voters can only assume he supports it.”
