Club for Growth Reaches Out to Millennials
Washington, D.C. – The leading free-market organization, the Club for Growth, unveiled a new website and digital ad campaign called https://economicarmageddon.com/.
“Economic Armageddon” is part of an educational effort to highlight for millennials the disastrous policies contained in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal.” The significant five-figure digital ad buy will run in targeted areas nationwide.
Entitled “The Goal is Control,” the video highlights the “Green New Deal’s” impact on American families: millions of jobs destroyed, increased taxes, a massive decline in the standard of living, and government control over every aspect of our lives.

“The ‘Green New Deal’ is so ludicrous, it has been panned by economists on the right and the left,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said. “Let this be a warning to the overzealous socialists in the Democratic Party: The green nightmare is a declaration of war on our way of life in this country, and the Club for Growth will be at the frontlines of that battle. Fortunately, the facts are on our side. This educational campaign is just the beginning of our effort to make sure socialism fails in this country.”
