Club for Growth President Chris Chocola: Barry Loudermilk a “taxpayer hero” and Dr. Bob Johnson “the prescription we need” to repeal ObamaCare

Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC today announced that it is endorsing State Senator Barry Loudermilk in the Republican primary runoff in Georgia’s 11th Congressional District and Dr. Bob Johnson in the Republican primary runoff in Georgia’s 1st Congressional District. Loudermilk is facing former Congressman and Presidential candidate Bob Barr and Johnson is facing State Senator Buddy Carter. The seats will be open because Congressman Phil Gingrey (11th District) and Congressman Jack Kingston (1st District) both chose to run for the United States Senate this year.

“Barry Loudermilk is a taxpayer hero who stood up to the big spenders in Atlanta and he’ll fight for economic freedom in Congress. Barry will fight the big spenders in both parties and he’ll be an ally of Georgia conservatives like Tom Graves and Tom Price when he’s elected,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “We need more fighters like Barry Loudermilk serving in Congress and Club members can’t wait to support his run for Congress.”

“ObamaCare is a disaster, and sending Dr. Bob Johnson to Washington is just the prescription we need,” said Chocola. “Dr. Bob Johnson will never stop fighting to repeal ObamaCare, and he’ll oppose wasteful earmarks and reckless spending in Washington. Voters in southeast Georgia have a clear choice in Dr. Bob Johnson and the Club’s PAC will do everything necessary to elect him to Congress.”
