Club for Growth Statement on Leadership Elections

“Several Republican Members of the Senate and House have called upon their leadership to postpone Leadership elections for the next Congress until we know the outcome of all the elections—specifically the Georgia runoff and the remaining 23 House races. By waiting until these races are determined, it will give citizens represented by every Republican a vote in choosing the party’s leadership.  In addition, it will provide current Members the opportunity to reflect on this election to determine what worked and what did not. The leadership elections must be delayed.”
