Club for Growth PAC: Rosendale Holds Commanding Lead over GOP Competitors in Montana
Today, Club for Growth PAC released poll results that show Montana State Auditor Matt Rosendale holds a resounding lead over his competitors in Montana’s Republican primary.
The polling revealed:
- Rosendale has excellent name recognition, with 86% of Republican primary voters having heard of him.
- Matt Rosendale has a strong positive image among Montana primary voters. Three-in-five (59%) have a favorable impression of him.
- If the election were held today, Rosendale would win the primary by a substantial margin.
o Rosendale has the support of two-in-five likely primary voters.
o The next highest “vote getter” is “undecided.”
o No other candidate cleared 20% of the vote, with Fagg being at 17%.

The survey was conducted for Club for Growth by WPA Intelligence on April 15-16, 2018. The study has a sample size of n=503 Republican primary voters in Montana with a margin of error ±4.4% in 95 out of 100 cases.
