WASHINGTON, D.C. – Club for Growth President David McIntosh issued the following statement in response SEC Chair Gary Gensler testimony before the House Financial Services Committee. 

 

“Today’s testimony by SEC Chair Gary Gensler shows that he is in no way an impartial regulator, but rather an unelected bureaucrat imposing his far-left ideology on American investors and consumers. We applaud Majority Whip Tom Emmer and Rep. Richie Torres for forcing Gensler to answer tough questions, and we will continue to work with Republicans as well as the growing number of Democrats on standing up to Gensler.” – David McIntosh, Club for Growth President
