ICYMI: CfG Calls for ‘America First Spectrum Policy’ in Full-Page WSJ Ad

  |

Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, Club for Growth ran a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal urging President Trump and Congressional Republicans to direct the FCC to hold open auctions on spectrum real estate. The proposal calls for the commission to run two auctions simultaneously, one for exclusive and another for shared licenses, and allows all interested parties to participate. Once the bidding concludes, the auction track that delivers the largest benefits to taxpayers wins. This comes after Club for Growth President David McIntosh wrote an op-ed outlining the proposal in the Washington Times.
