Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, Club for Growth released a new digital ad praising President Trump and Congressional Republicans for passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. President Trump’s signature legislation will prevent the Democrats’ $4.5 trillion tax hike, allow for full expensing of capital investments, create the most robust federal school freedom program in American history, and curb wasteful spending through welfare reform. In the months leading up to the vote, Club for Growth ran ads targeting 5 Senators and 2 Representatives urging them to pass the bill, including: Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), Sen. John Curtis (R-UT), Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17), and Nick LaLota (NY-01), while also thanking Rep. Scott Perry (PA-10) for his support of the legislation. The campaign included 10 unique TV ads as well as thousands of calls and emails to each Republican members’ office, all of whom ultimately voted for the bill.

The group launched targeted ad campaigns aimed at persuading lawmakers who remained undecided on the bill, according to its website. Lawmakers included Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Jerry Moran of Kansas, John Curtis of Utah and Kevin Cramer of Nebraska. Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman was also targeted, as were Republican Reps. Mike Lawler and Nick Lalota of New York and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.
The legislation passed the Senate with Murkowski voting in favor and Vice President JD Vance casting a tie-breaking vote. The legislation cleared the House on Thursday and now heads to the president’s desk. The bill seeks to avert an estimated $4.5 trillion tax hike set to take effect at the end of the year.
The legislation eliminates taxes on tips and overtime pay, funds school choice initiatives, and extends the tax cuts enacted during Trump’s first term, delivering on campaign promises made by the president.
