National Review: “The Club’s Good Fight”

Rich Lowry, the editor of National Review, writes:

I wasn’t where the Club for Growth [PAC] was on Mississippi because I had qualms about McDaniel, but give it this: When the Club[‘s PAC] sets out to support a candidate and raise money for him, it actually spends money trying to get him elected. It spent big in Mississippi (as did the Senate Conservatives Fund). If other tea-party groups that professed to be wholly committed to fighting for McDaniel had done the same, the outcome might have been different.
