At Auburn, Moore enlisted in the Alabama National Guard and Reserves and was a member of the Army Ranger Challenge Team in Auburn’s ROTC program. After graduation, Moore founded Barry Moore Industries where he grew his business from the ground up.

Moore was elected to the Alabama State House in 2010, serving as Chairman of Military and Veteran Affairs and Vice-Chair of the Small Business and Commerce Committee. After term-limiting himself, Moore ran for U.S. Congress, where he has been a Member of the House Freedom Caucus. Undoubtedly a “Club conservative,” Moore is especially strong on tax policy, free markets in health care, deregulation, and term limits.
