CFG Action President David McIntosh Statement on JD Vance’s Debate Victory Over Harris’ Progressive Lap Dog

Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh issued the following statement after Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance’s dominant debate performance over out-of-touch progressive Tim Walz. 

“Tonight, Americans across the country saw what we already knew — JD Vance is a young, energetic leader who has a plan to end the economic disaster inflicted by the Biden-Harris administration. He is far and away the most qualified candidate in the race to hold the second highest office in the United States,” said Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh. “Despite the media’s best efforts to convince voters that Tim Walz is a folksy moderate, the reality is he is a far left progressive who was Bernie Sanders’ preferred pick for the job. Walz is a failed educator who openly brags that none of his former students were accepted to our nation’s premier colleges and universities, a failed governor who raised taxes across the board while cratering economic and job growth in Minnesota far below the national average, and a soon-to-be failed Vice Presidential candidate. The Trump-Vance ticket is America’s path forward to prosperity.”
