Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC has endorsed James Uthmeier in Florida’s Attorney General race. Uthmeier served in the first Trump Administration, working as senior counsel and senior advisor in the U.S. Department of Commerce under Wilbur Ross, before becoming Governor Ron DeSantis’ Chief of Staff. Following Ashley Moody’s appointment to the U.S. Senate, DeSantis selected Uthmeier as the state’s next Attorney General. President Donald J. Trump has also endorsed Uthmeier in the race.

“AG James Uthmeier is a proven leader with a lengthy track record of protecting the rule of law and championing limited government policies. Uthmeier has done a tremendous job since his appointment to Florida’s Attorney General’s office and is the only candidate in the race that will put Floridians first,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth PAC is proud to join President Trump in endorsing Uthmeier for a full term, and we look forward to ensuring he continues to serve as Florida’s Attorney General.”

Club for Growth PAC is affiliated with Club for Growth Action, the nation’s largest conservative Super PAC. In 2024, Club for Growth PAC endorsed candidates won 79% of their elections.
