Ad Highlights President Trump’s Endorsement of David Covey &
Phelan’s Questionable Record
Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth Action has released its final ad in the TX-HD-21 Republican primary runoff. The ad, narrated by David Covey’s former Pastor David Valleau, reminds voters of President Trump’s endorsement of Covey in the race while also questioning Speaker Dade Phelan’s credibility and judgment.
Club for Growth Action and its affiliated School Freedom Fund invested nearly $4 million on the primaries ahead of the runoff and defeated 7 incumbents on election day and 5 went to a runoff. Club for Growth Action has also committed more than $4 million into the runoffs, targeting Texas HD-01, HD-21 HD-33, HD-44, and HD-58.
