Club for Growth Action released an updated advertisement on former V.P. Joe Biden’s long and questionable record on race issues to include clips taken from the June 27 Democratic debate when Sen. Kamala Harris directly criticized Biden about his past positions and statements. Entitled “Time’s Up, Dumb Stuff,” the 30 second ad will be part of a five-figure digital ad placement in key early primary states and other major media markets.
Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh said, “Kamala Harris’ attack on Joe Biden during the debate echoed the same points we have found Biden to be vulnerable on. We believe Harris’ criticisms of Biden’s past positions on key race related issues, and those that have followed by other candidates and commentators, are valid and present a major obstacle to Biden’s candidacy.”
The original ad ran on Iowa television during the second night of the Democratic presidential primary debates.
