CLUB FOR GROWTH APPLAUDS GOV. RON DESANTIS, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR EXPANDING PARENTAL SCHOOL CHOICE

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth issued the following statement in response to the Florida Department of Education’s decision to allow parents to send their child to another school district if their own district institutes a mask mandate.

“Every parent has the right to ensure their child is in an engaging academic environment,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “And they should also have a voice in how their education tax-dollars are being spent and what’s best for their children. We applaud Gov. DeSantis and the Florida Department of Education for their decision to expand parental school choice in Florida.”
