Club for Growth PAC Congratulates Bernie Moreno on OH-SEN Primary Victory

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC congratulates Bernie Moreno on winning the Republican primary for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat.  Moreno defeated State Senator Matt Dolan, as well as Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose in the primary. Club for Growth PAC and President Donald Trump both endorsed Bernie Moreno in the race.

“Bernie Moreno is the embodiment of the American dream. He immigrated to the United States with his family at a young age, became an American citizen once he turned 18, and grew his small business into one of the country’s largest auto dealership groups,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Moreno’s unwavering support for our constitution and his commitment to pro-growth, limited government principles make him the ideal candidate to represent Ohio in the Senate. Club for Growth PAC is proud to have played a role in his primary victory, and we are eager to help him defeat radical leftist, Sherrod Brown, in the general election this fall.”

Club for Growth Action and its allied Super PACs invested nearly $6 million in the race with a series of ads to boost Moreno’s candidacy and inform voters of Matt Dolan’s long history of supporting liberal policies. Club for Growth PAC members contributed $61,506 directly to Moreno’s campaign.
