Club for Growth PAC Congratulates Dan Bishop on NC-9 Primary Victory

North Carolina State Senator Dan Bishop, who the Club for Growth PAC endorsed on April 22, easily won the Republican primary in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District. Bishop will face Dan McCready in the special election to be held on September 10, 2019.

“Primary voters in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District made the right choice in voting for Dan Bishop – he is the best candidate to beat liberal, out-of-touch, Dan McCready in the upcoming special election,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Bishop will unite voters behind his candidacy because he is a fighter for economic freedom, individual liberty, and fiscal responsibility, while McCready will only work to advance the radical socialist agenda of Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ilhan Omar.”

Club for Growth members contributed over $85,000 directly to Bishop’s winning campaign through the Club for Growth PAC. Club for Growth Action spent over $138,000 in support of Bishop’s candidacy.
