Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC congratulates Ellen Weaver on winning the Republican primary runoff for South Carolina’s State Superintendent race. Weaver is a former Club for Growth Foundation Fellow from the 2021 class.

“We are very excited to see Ellen Weaver advance to the general election in South Carolina’s Superintendent race,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Weaver is a champion of school choice and supporter of giving parents a voice in their children’s education. We look forward to doing whatever it takes to help her win in November.”

School Freedom Fund, which is allied with Club for Growth Action, spent over $700,000 to promote Weaver’s candidacy while highlighting her opponent’s commitment to education bureaucrats instead of students.
