Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC congratulates Marlin Stutzman on winning the Republican primary for Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District. Stutzman, who represented the seat from 2010 – 2017, defeated businessman Tim Smith and former Allen County Circuit Judge Wendy Davis in the 8-person contest for the Republican nomination.

“During his time in the U.S. House, Marlin Stutzman proved he is a strong economic conservative, earning a 93% lifetime rating on the Club for Growth Foundation’s annual economic scorecard,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “We are confident that Stutzman will continue his work to restore fiscal sanity to Washington, and we are proud to have supported him in the race.”

Club for Growth Action and its allied Super PACs invested over $750,000 in the race to inform voters of Wendy Davis’ support for DEI initiatives while serving as Allen County Circuit Judge and Tim Smith asking for immunity over the allegations of abuse in a boys’ home he now oversees.
