CLUB FOR GROWTH PAC CONGRATULATES MIKE GARCIA ON CA-25 VICTORY

Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh issued the following statement congratulating Mike Garcia on his victory in California’s 25^th Congressional District’s special general election. Garcia defeated liberal state Assemblywoman and former school board member Christy Smith to fill the seat of disgraced Democratic Rep. Katie Hill who resigned this past November.

“We’d like to congratulate Mike Garcia on running a great campaign and thank our members who helped turn this blue district red and are sending a real, pro-growth conservative to Washington who believes in economic freedom,” said David McIntosh, President of Club for Growth PAC.

Club for Growth members contributed almost $60,000 directly to Garcia’s winning campaign through the Club for Growth PAC, and Club for Growth Action more than $187,000 for a total of almost $247,000.

Club for Growth PACs support principled, pro-growth conservatives in key elections across the country. In 2018, Club for Growth PACs won 85% races in the election while maintaining 8.9% overhead.
