Club for Growth PAC Congratulates Mike Lee on UT-SEN Victory

Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth PAC congratulates Mike Lee on winning his reelection campaign in Utah’s United States Senate race. Lee, a Club for Growth PAC endorsed candidate, defeated independent challenger Evan McMullin. Club for Growth PAC first endorsed Mike Lee during his 2010 Senate campaign and has supported him ever since.

“Mike Lee is a conservative fighter who has a long-standing track record of standing up to failed spending packages that have hurt the American economy,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “The voters of Utah want a candidate that best represents their values, something Evan McMullin clearly didn’t care about after refusing to support Republican leadership if he was elected to the seat.”

Club for Growth Action and its allied PACs invested $8,871,549.84 on a series of ads and mailers to remind Utahn’s of Mike Lee’s record in the Senate while also informing voters of Evan McMullin’s past attacks calling Republicans racists and bigots. Club for Growth members contributed $272,515 directly to Lee’s campaign.
