Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth PAC congratulates Nick Begich, a 2020 Club for Growth Foundation Fellow, on his victory in Alaska’s At-Large Congressional District race. Begich defeated incumbent Democrat Mary Peltola (CFGF Lifetime Score: 7%) in the contest.

“Nick Begich’s dedication to conservative principles and his firsthand understanding of economic liberty make him an invaluable advocate for Alaskans,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Begich is a former Club for Growth Foundation fellow and has demonstrated a consistent commitment to fiscal responsibility and economic growth. We are excited to see him bring that leadership to Washington.”

Club for Growth Action and its allied Super PACs invested over $2.5 million into the race targeting Rep. Mary Peltola for supporting the Biden-Harris administration’s attack on domestic energy production. Club for Growth PAC members contributed $67,061 directly to the Begich campaign.
