Club for Growth PAC Congratulates Sen. Ted Cruz on TX-SEN Re-Election Victory

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC congratulates Sen. Ted Cruz (CFGF Lifetime Score: 93%) on his successful re-election campaign for the United State Senate. Sen. Cruz defeated liberal challenger Rep. Colin Allred (CFGF Lifetime Score: 3%) in the contest.

“Despite the lack of support from some ‘leaders’ in his own party, Texas voters made it clear that Sen. Cruz was the only candidate in the race that shares their values and champions their beliefs,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth PAC will always defend patriots like Sen. Cruz whether they are being attacked by radical progressives or abandoned by Establishment Republicans.”

Club for Growth Action and its allied Super PACs invested nearly $10 million into the race to promote Sen. Cruz and inform voters of Rep. Colin Allred’s radical liberal voting record. This included a significant effort to reach Hispanic voters through Spanish language advertisements. Club for Growth PAC members contributed $360,688 directly to Sen. Cruz’s re-election campaign.
