Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC released the following statement after Senator Rand Paul announced he would suspend his presidential campaign:

“Rand Paul is a strong, consistent, and leading voice in the battle for economic liberty,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh, “and his pro-growth vision will carry on as he runs for re-election in Kentucky. In 2014, the Club’s PAC announced its endorsement of that re-election bid, and today Club members are enthusiastically proud to stand with Rand, and, through the Club’s PAC, will work to ensure that he continues to fight in the U.S. Senate to cut the overbearing size and influence of the federal government.”
