Club for Growth PAC endorsed Celeste Cairns, an emerging star in the crowded 17-candidate field to fill Rep. Walter Jones’ seat in North Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District.
“Celeste Cairns’ background in the private sector gives her insight into how the economy works and the burden government regulations place on businesses and families,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “In Congress, she will fight for economic freedom by championing lower taxes and lower spending, eliminating government red tape, enacting term-limits and reducing Big Government’s footprint.”
Celeste Cairns graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and worked as an accountant at Deloitte. Today, she is a proud military wife and mom.
The Republican primary for this special election will be held on April 30th. If no candidate achieves 30 percent of the vote, the top two vote-getters will advance to a special run-off election on July 9th.
