Club for Growth PAC Endorses Conservative Dan Bishop in NC-09

Club for Growth PAC endorsed State Senator Dan Bishop in the special election in North Carolina’s 9^th Congressional District.

Sen. Bishop is a principled fiscal conservative with a proven track record in the state legislature. Since his election in 2014, Sen. Bishop has fought for tax cuts, including sales tax relief, personal income tax cuts, and corporate tax cuts. He has also supported Medicaid reform and spending restraint.

“Sen. Bishop has been a leading fiscal conservative in Raleigh and he’ll continue that leadership on behalf of taxpayers and job creators in Washington,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh.

“Just as important, Sen. Bishop is the only conservative who can win the nomination without a run-off.  Republicans can’t afford a four-month runoff that will drain resources needed to defeat liberal Dan McCready, while allowing McCready to focus on November. Republicans and conservatives should rally behind Sen. Bishop now if they want to stop McCready.”
