Club for Growth PAC Endorses Derek Merrin in OH-09 Race

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC endorsed Derek Merrin in Ohio’s 9^th Congressional District. Merrin, a member of the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2022 Fellowship class, was previously endorsed by Club for Growth PAC in 2024 and will face incumbent Democrat Marcy Kaptur in the general election.

“Derek Merrin is the rare Columbus politician who actually fought the system instead of joining it,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “In Congress, Merrin will slash taxes, defend free speech, and champion American digital assets. Marcy Kaptur has been asleep at the wheel for decades, and Ohio’s 9th is ready to wake up.”

Club for Growth PAC is affiliated with Club for Growth Action, the nation’s largest conservative Super PAC. In 2024, Club for Growth PAC endorsed candidates won 79% of their elections.
