Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC announced the endorsement of Rep. Mo Brooks for Senate in Alabama and Rep. Chip Roy in Texas’ 21st Congressional District.

One of Alabama’s Senate seats is being vacated by Senator Richard Shelby (CFGF Lifetime Rating: 74%), who announced he is not seeking re-election. Rep. Brooks (CFGF Lifetime Rating: 86%) was first elected in 2010 and is in his 6th term representing Alabama’s 5th Congressional District.

“From fighting for the Trump Tax Cuts to rallying against bailouts and bloated budgets, Rep. Brooks has proven to be a strong economic conservative who is unafraid to stand up to Democrats and Republican Leadership to fight for the best interests of the people of Alabama,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Brooks will be an excellent addition to the Senate and Club for Growth PAC is excited to support his campaign.”

Club for Growth PAC first endorsed Rep. Roy (CFGF Lifetime Rating: 99%) when he ran for the House in 2018 and endorsed Roy’s re-election in 2020.

“Rep. Roy has proven to be a conservative fighter in the House, earning Club for Growth’s Defender of Economic Freedom Award twice and showing that he has the guts to stand up to the Establishment and special interests in Washington,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “We look forward to supporting his re-election campaign and keeping a conservative champion in Congress.”

Club for Growth PAC supports conservatives in key elections across the country. In 2020, Club for Growth PAC won over 80% of its races.
