Club for Growth PAC Endorses Rep. Tom Barrett in MI-07 Race

  |

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC endorsed Rep. Tom Barrett in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Barrett is running for reelection against Democratic Socialist William Lawrence. Andrew Howard covered the launch in an exclusive report for Politico’s Morning Score newsletter.

“Rep. Tom Barrett is a proven champion who has spent his tenure in Congress cutting taxes and fighting inflation to make life for Michiganders more affordable,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “As Barrett continues to work for the voters in Michigan’s 7th District, his opponent is focused on emulating Zohran Mamdani and other Socialists working to destroy America’s core principles. The choice in this race could not be clearer.”

In addition to the endorsement, Club for Growth Action released a new ad informing voters that William Lawrence is a proud socialist committed to defunding the police. The ad is part of a $600,000 buy and will air during live sports games and on streaming throughout September.
