Club for Growth PAC President McIntosh Statement Following Mamdani’s NYC Mayoral Victory

Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh issued the following statement after Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani’s victory in New York City’s mayoral race:

“After his overwhelming and decisive victory in tonight’s election, it is clear that communist Zohran Mamdani is the new face of the Democratic Party heading into the 2026 midterms,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “History has consistently proven that socialism is destined to fail, and now every Democrat on the ballot next year will have to defend price controls, government-run grocery stores, and expansions to an already sprawling bureaucratic state.”
