Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC has endorsed Senator Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee’s gubernatorial race. Blackburn, a 7-time winner of Club for Growth’s Defender of Economic Freedom Award, is running to replace Governor Bill Lee, who is term-limited. Club for Growth PAC is affiliated with Club for Growth Action, the nation’s largest conservative Super PAC. In 2024, Club for Growth PAC endorsed candidates won 79% of their elections. During last year’s primary cycle, Club for Growth Action’s allied School Freedom Fund invested $3.6 million in Tennessee State Legislative primaries and defeated four anti-school freedom Republicans.

A leading conservative organization that has long been a major player in Republican Party primary battles is putting its weight behind GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn as she runs for Tennessee governor.

The Club for Growth PAC is endorsing Blackburn, who is facing off against Rep. John Rose in the 2026 Republican gubernatorial primary in reliably red Tennessee. The winner of next year’s general election will succeed term-limited GOP Gov. Bill Lee.
