ICYMI: Club for Growth Action Releases New Ad in WV-GOV Race

  |

Washington, D.C. — In case you missed it, Club for Growth Action launched a new ad in the West Virginia Governor’s race hitting Chris Miller for taking over $3 million in taxpayer forgiven Covid relief loans for his business after his mother, Congresswoman Carol Miller, voted in favor of the program. Totally coincidentally, Chris Miller would go on to later loan his gubernatorial campaign $3 million. Zach Montellaro covered the release as an exclusive in Politico’s Morning Score newsletter.

AD TRANSCRIPT:

Chris Miller is a multimillionaire.

But his business still took over $3 million in Covid relief loans.

Loans forgiven at taxpayers expense.

And Miller’s Congresswoman mom voted for the program that handed her son’s businesses millions.

Worse, $3 million is the amount Miller has given his campaign.

Chris Miller: taxpayers lose because Miller always puts himself first.
