ICYMI: New CfG PAC Poll Shows Biggs Leading AZ-GOV Primary By 29 Points As Trump Endorses
Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, Club for Growth PAC released a new poll in Arizona’s 2026 Republican Gubernatorial Primary showing Rep. Andy Biggs (45%) leading Karrin Taylor Robson (16%) by 29 points. Additionally, President Donald Trump issued a dual endorsement of both candidates on Monday, after previously only endorsing Taylor Robson in the race. Politico’s Ally Mutnick covered the development in an exclusive report.

EXCERPTS:
Three years after losing to Kari Lake, Karrin Taylor Robson is running again for Arizona governor with a much clearer path toward claiming the MAGA mantle.
But the Club for Growth is firing a warning shot.
The influential anti-tax group is wading into the Arizona gubernatorial race with a new poll, shared first with POLITICO, touting the electability of GOP Rep. Andy Biggs, Robson’s chief opponent.
…
Trump endorsed Robson, who has ties to the state’s GOP establishment, before she even entered the race. But Biggs, a former House Freedom Caucus chair and Arizona state Senate president, has been a Trump ally for years. And on Monday, Trump offered a dual endorsement to both Biggs and Robson, calling them “two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions.”
…
The Club for Growth has not yet endorsed in the race, but its super PAC commissioned the poll. And its potential involvement in any race could mean resources. In addition to her ties to the GOP establishment in Arizona, Robson is personally wealthy and can help fund her own bid. Should the Club endorse Biggs — as it has in previous races he has run — and decide to spend, the group could help him narrow that gap.
Biggs led Robson by 29 points, 45 percent to 16 percent, according to a memo about the Pulse Decision Science poll of 511 likely GOP primary voters conducted on behalf of Club for Growth PAC in early April. Another 39 percent remain undecided in the survey.
…
The survey also tests a general election contest, with the data suggesting Biggs would be a more formidable opponent against Hobbs. He trails the governor by 4 points, 42 to 46 percent, in that head-to-head, while Robson trails by 9 points, 38 to 47 percent.
