Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, Cleveland.com reported on a new Ohio Republican Senate primary Club for Growth PAC poll that shows Josh Mandel has a sizable lead as his opponents’ campaigns have failed to catch-on.
- Mandel has sizable lead with 40% of the vote, his nearest competitor is JD Vance with just 12%.
- Mandel has strong name ID and high favorables among Republican primary voters.
- None of the other contenders for the Republican nomination have even half of Mandel’s level of name ID or favorability ratings.

The Club for Growth [PAC], the conservative advocacy organization, has released a poll showing its endorsed candidate, Former State Treasurer Josh Mandel, still leads the field of Republican U.S. Senate primary candidates. In the poll conducted among 515 Republican primary voters from July 27-29, 40% said they’d vote for Mandel, while 12 % said author/investor J.D. Vance and 8% said former Ohio Republican Party Chairman Jane Timken. The rest of the candidates were basically tied at 3% or less.
