The Club for Growth [PAC], the conservative advocacy organization, has released a poll showing its endorsed candidate, Former State Treasurer Josh Mandel, still leads the field of Republican U.S. Senate primary candidates. In the poll conducted among 515 Republican primary voters from July 27-29, 40% said they’d vote for Mandel, while 12 % said author/investor J.D. Vance and 8% said former Ohio Republican Party Chairman Jane Timken. The rest of the candidates were basically tied at 3% or less.
