Inflation Is An Election Day Disaster For Democrats

Club for Growth Action issued the following statement in response to the announcement that inflation is worse than expected.

“Poll after poll shows that Americans are most concerned about inflation, and today’s report is a clear sign to voters that Democrats are only focused on imposing radical policies and can’t do what needs to be done,” said David McIntosh, Club for Growth Action President. “Since taking office, Biden and the Democrats have driven inflation to record levels with almost $10 trillion in new spending. Inflation has skyrocketed from 1.4% in January 2021 to as high as 9.1% in June of 2021, which accounts for more than an entire month of earnings for the American worker. Biden’s inflation tax is destroying the Middle Class and Democrats will be held accountable on Election Day.
