Masterson Beats Schmidt In KS-GOV School Freedom Victory

Washington, D.C. – School Freedom Fund has defeated RINO and outspoken school freedom opponent Vicki Schmidt in Kansas’ Republican Gubernatorial primary. Schmidt lost to Ty Masterson, who has championed school choice in his platform.

“Vicki Schmidt’s loss is a win for Kansas parents,” said School Freedom Fund President David McIntosh. “If you claim to be a Republican and oppose school freedom, we will inform the voters about your true record and make sure you lose your next election. Kansans deserve a leader, like Ty Masterson, who will represent their needs and fight empower parents in their children’s education.”

School Freedom Fund invested over $2 million into the race attacking Schmidt’s record of big spending and increased welfare programs for illegal aliens and convicted felons.
