BREAKING: CfG Brings School Freedom to Wyoming
Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth President David McIntosh issued the following statement after Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signed HB 199 — the state’s universal school freedom legislation.
“Today is a great day for students and families in the Cowboy State. We applaud the work of Governor Gordon, Senate President Bo Biteman, and everyone in Cheyenne who delivered school freedom,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “For too long, radically liberal education bureaucrats have trapped students in failing public schools. Now, Wyoming is giving a voice to parents, and prioritizing the needs of students over special interests.”
Club for Growth launched its latest state-level school freedom campaign, urging lawmakers in the Wyoming State Senate to pass the Steamboat Legacy Scholarship Act. The efforts feature a new statewide TV ad, a new poll showing a majority of Wyoming voters support school freedom, and full-page print ads in the Casper Star-Tribune and the Wyoming Tribune Eagle promoting school freedom in Wyoming.
