Washington, DC – Tonight, the Club for Growth PAC congratulated businessman Ted Budd on his victory in the Republican Primary in North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District. Club for Growth Action, the Club’s Super PAC, spent nearly $500,000 in Independent Expenditure ads for Budd.
“As we looked at a field of 17 Republicans, including four state lawmakers, there was no question that Ted Budd stood out as the best economic conservative in the race,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Budd is a successful entrepreneur, a political outsider, and he’s committed to the principles of economic liberty. Today, the voters of NC-13 have given him a convincing victory, and the Club for Growth PAC is proud to have endorsed his candidacy.”
