WASHINGTON, D.C. – Club for Growth issued the following statement after the U.S. Senate voted to acquit President Trump.

“Club for Growth and our more than 250,000 advocates have led the way in opposing the sham impeachment of President Trump, and we are happy conservatives can now focus on passing more of the pro-growth policies like tax cuts and deregulation which have driven our economic boom,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Impeachment was just another publicity stunt by Pelosi and her Socialist Squad, and the American people will reject it as improper, divisive, and self-serving, which is how it will be remembered in history.”
