BREAKING: CfG Expands School Freedom in GA

  |

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth congratulates Governor Brian Kemp and Georgia lawmakers for expanding the state’s Promise Scholarship Program. Club for Growth engaged in a six-figure advocacy campaign supporting Governor Kemp’s funding proposal for the Promise Scholarship Program. The efforts included a TV ad and grassroots advocacy urging State Lawmakers to support Governor Kemp’s plan. Under Georgia’s new 2026 budget, the Promise Scholarship Program will receive $141 million in funding, a significant increase from the House’s initial budget proposal that allocated just $45.6 million for the program.

“This is a great day for Georgia families and students across the Peach State. We commend the work of Governor Kemp and every Republican lawmaker that voted to empower parents in their children’s education,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth is proud to have played a role in this victory, and we look forward to expanding our school freedom efforts in new states across the country.”
